Course Outline / Syllabus Summary
Our intention is to share this wealth of knowledge through powerful practices combined with in depth theory, while facilitating experiential learning and personal growth. The structure of our teaching system is based on the Tantric System of Pancha Makara otherwise known as the 5 M’s.
This sequence of yogic practices outlines a comprehensive and transformative journey, moving from physical preparation to the heights of spiritual awakening and union. Here's a concise breakdown of each phase:
-
MUDRA (Body - Hatha Yoga)
Hatha Yoga balances sun (Ha) and moon (Tha) energies, opening the central channel (sushumna) for Kundalini flow. The practice begins with Shat Karma (internal cleansing), followed by Asana, Pranayama, Mudra, and Bhanda to harness and circulate energy. Key teachings include chakra awareness, energy harmonization, and awakening kundalini.
-
MATSYA (Mind - Ashtanga Yoga)
Ashtanga Yoga progresses from internal self-discipline (Yama, Niyama) to meditative bliss (Samadhi). Practices such as Pratyahara, Dharana, and Dhyana cultivate inner focus, while Yoga Nidra and Ajapa Japa support mindfulness and subconscious reprogramming.
-
MADYA (Intoxication/Power - Mantra Yoga)
Mantra Yoga harnesses divine energy through sound vibration. Classical and tantric mantras are used to raise vibrations, deepen bliss, and connect to archetypal energies. Practices include AUM chanting, Kirtan, and personalized Mantra Initiation.
-
MAMSA (Meat - Kundalini Yoga)
Kundalini Yoga awakens latent power within the chakras using techniques like visualization, pranayama, and chakra-specific practices. Kriya Yoga purifies the body through energy circulation, leading to self-mastery and personal transformation.
-
MAITUNA (Divine Union - Shiva Shakti Yoga)
This practice merges spirituality and sexuality, aiming for inner harmony and oneness. Techniques from Kaula Tantra guide sacred rituals for divine energy invocation, balancing the masculine and feminine energies within.
ADDITIONAL COMPONENTS INCLUDE CLASSICAL TANTRIC PHILOSOPHY, SACRED SPACE FACILITATION, BHAKTI YOGA (DEVOTION), KARMA YOGA (SELFLESS SERVICE), AND AYURVEDIC ALCHEMY TO PROMOTE HARMONY AND SPIRITUAL AWAKENING.

Our Mission
Our mission is to share the profound wisdom of Tantra through powerful practices and comprehensive teachings, fostering experiential learning and personal transformation.
Tantra Yoga, rooted in ancient wisdom, offers a holistic path that frees individuals from modern pressures and reconnects them with their authentic selves. Through disciplined practice and spiritual awareness, life becomes an unfolding journey rather than a pursuit of external goals. Tantra helps re-anchor both individuals and the collective in spiritual connection, guiding them back to their true essence.
By treating the body as a sacred temple, it fosters inner peace and joy that are not reliant on external circumstances. Traditional Tantra Yoga provides a map for navigating modern life while staying grounded in deeper spiritual truths.
It encourages surrender and trust over control, leading to growth, transformation, and ongoing self-discovery. By honoring tradition and making its wisdom accessible to contemporary seekers, Tantra Yoga supports personal liberation and the creation of more conscious, spiritually connected communities.
About Us
Living in Sacred Places
Gopika and Kāmadevī’s spiritual journeys are woven together by many shared experiences and deep spiritual awakenings. Both of them embarked on their paths in India 20 years ago, with Gopika immersing herself in the devotional energy of Vrindavan (the land of bhakti and Lord Krishna), and Kamadevi delving into the profound spiritual wisdom of Varanasi, Shiva's ancient city on the banks of the Ganga.
India provided answers to the deeper questions their hearts were seeking, sparking powerful spiritual awakenings along the way. A deep yearning for liberation has fueled their journey from the beginning, as they both sought a life beyond the ordinary. In these sacred cities, they found the space for their inner yogini natures to blossom, grounded in these ancient traditions.
Our Spirit and Bond
We share a common love for life, creativity, and spiritual purpose; which led us to create this teacher training together. The feminine power of creativity and the inherent spark of life combined with the timeless spiritual traditions have forged a fresh and unique approach to their teachings. Their lives, like the threads of a Tantric mandala, have become intertwined in a beautiful synergy that fuels their work. Our friendship has been a sacred container, nurturing each other’s spiritual journeys and offering a safe space for exploration and growth.
Teaching Together
When we met, the spark was immediate, we sensed that teaching together was our destined path. We use our experiences of navigating karmic cycles as fuel for freedom, offering an alchemical cauldron where transformation can take place.
Together, we create a field of devotion, presence, and truth that invites others into their own liberation.
A Living Example of Transformation
Through ceremony and community, we’ve become mirrors for one another, witnessing and embodying the sacred potential of interpersonal growth and spiritual awakening. Our work is a living transmission, a radiant field that welcomes others to awaken, evolve, and embody their unique essence. In this sacred container, your transformation is not only possible - it is celebrated.

Activities & Excursions
This month, we will embark on two special excursions, each serving as a sacred initiation to receive profound transmissions. Every step of these pilgrimages marks a rite of passage into deeper Tantric embodiment.
Mahavatar Babaji’s Cave
Mahavatar Babaji, the revered avatar and guru who taught Kriya Yoga to Lahiri Mahasaya (1828–1895), became more widely recognized in the West through Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda, which recounts Yogananda’s own meeting with Babaji. Our silent hike and meditation at Babaji’s cave will offer a powerful opportunity for personal insight, supporting you on your life path.
The Himalayas, particularly the Uttarakhand region, are the heart of Yogic heritage. Kāmadevī has a deep connection to this area, having spent over a month in silent tapas (mona) there in 2017. Her familiarity with this sacred land dates back to 2007 when she first visited and spent time in ashrams such as Haidrikhan Babaji.
Ma Vaishno Devi Temple
The Shakti Peeth dedicated to Ma Vaishno Devi is indeed a revered pilgrimage site, drawing devotees seeking spiritual power, strength, and protection. As a form of Ma Durga, the goddess embodies the divine feminine energy that plays a central role in the practices of Tantra and yogic traditions. The Tri Shaktis (Maha Kali, Maha Lakshmi, and Maha Saraswati) represent the three core aspects of the universal feminine energy: transformation, abundance, and intuitive wisdom.
The spiritual ambiance of the temple, the rituals, and the devotion to Ma Vaishno Devi can empower and fortify one's path toward yogic purification and inner strength.
